You've missed out on a lot! Clockwork Orange is a must see . . . and the old Planet of the Apes . . . and Delicatessen.
Well, I tried following the template instructions here, and it didn't work. Didn't fuck up my blog, but it just didn't work, either. If you get a chance to look at the instructions, maybe you'll catch the error. Or should I mail you a text file of my template?
No big rush. I'm hoping it's something straightforward & not much trouble for you.
I figured out part of the problem. Blogger uses (span style)(/span) tags to specify italics, bold face, etc. That was nuking the (span class="fullpost")(/span) tags necessary for expandable posts.
So I went through and changed over to conventional tags, no span tags except the fullpost bit. Now it hides the part it's supposed to hide, but my "Read More!" link doesn't link to anything.
Does that tell you anything?
Hmmm, maybe try emailing me your (broken) template and I'll see if I can do some voodoo on it.
Also: the [span] [/span] tags should nest, so they shouldn't be clobbering each other. Odd. Hmmm.
(Unless, of course, Blogger's markup isn't as purty as it should be...)
Pat, I can't find your email addie. See ya,
